One photographer capturing moments in time. I specialize in action and still sports photography, Senior portraits, and events. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is reasonable, not too expensive but worth the final product.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After the initial quote, I like to do a phone consultation to find out more about the project in order to ensure I can meet the clients needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I do not have any college training in photography, but I do participate in workshops to develop my skills with composition and editing techniques.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been taking photos for years. Mostly random things, animals, landscapes, stars & planets, family & friends. About 6 years ago I started taking photos for my son's sports teams, just mom pics that I shared with others. Those photo's were popular and led to opening my own business. While I primary shoot sporting and other events, I also do indivual & family portraits, wedding & engagement photos, and special moments people memorialize in photographs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have many memorable projects, but capturing candid moments are my favorite.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as you can about the process, photo delivery, additional fees, consent forms, etc. Don't be afraid to bring a vision of what you want the final product to look like.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Definitely photo delivery, additional fees; such as travel fees, photo limits, print packages, or payment options.
